This theatre of Malabar incepted during the year 1971 was inaugurated by the famous actor “Urvasi Sharada” along with the late legend actor “Padmasree Prem Nasser”. The cinema viewers of Calicut had the opportunity to view the cinema through a 70mm screen for the first of its kind in kerala.
