All India Medical Institute is run by Abdu Rahiman Memorial Charitable Trust, which is established for the purpose of imparting health education and improving the quality of Medical Technology Services and Undertaking Charitable Medical Camps and Community Health Awareness Programmes.
AIMI is the BSS National Development Agency (Established by the Planning Commission, Government of India, on the recommendations of Indian Parliament.) and JAINx approved Medical Technology Institute in Malabar. It is situated at (1) Kozhikode Palayam Thali Samooham Road, (2) Agastianmuzhi, Mukkam, Kozhikode Dt, (3) Edavannappara (Calicut Road), Malappuram Dt, (4) Areekode, Post Office Road, Near Bus Stand, Malappuram Dt, (5) Thamarassery Chungam and (6) Vadakara.
Over these years our institute has grown from strength to strength, not only in enrollment but also in the quality of Medical Technology Education. In these institutes hundreds of students are trained every year in the various branches of the Medical Technology courses such as General Health Care and Maternity (GHM), Medical Laboratory Technician (DMLT), X-ray Technician (DMXT), ECG, Pharmacology & Store Keeping, Opthalmic Technician (DOA), Dental Lab Technician (DDT) etc.. and are employed in various Hospitals, Laboratories in India and abroad rendering yeoman service in this field. What we need today is a better informed community of well trained personnel, competent to any field of para medical services.
The trust hopes to expand these activities throughout Kerala so as to bring more institutes under its umbrella to render the best services possible. We earnestly solicit the patronage and co-operate of the government and the general public for the successful implementation of our programmers towards the achievement of ‘‘Health for all’’.
