This theatre of Malabar incepted during the year 1971 was inaugurated by the famous actor “Urvasi Sharada” along with the late legend actor “Padmasree Prem Nasser”. The cinema viewers of Calicut had the opportunity to view the cinema through a 70mm screen for the first of its kind in kerala. This magnificent theatre has given its valued viewers the magical movie experience through presenting more than 1000 cinemas. This Centralized Air conditioned theatre is spread out with the total capacity of 1231 seats. Balcony with 210 seats, First class with 730 seats and finally Second class with 291 seats. Adorned with well quipped high power DJ sound system, with comfortable push back seats, modern machinery namely Photo–Phone System and Zenor. With a total area of 97 cents, “Apsara Theatre” holds pride as Calicut’s hottest entertainment venue for people from all walks of life. “Apsara Theatre” centrally located on the busiest Railway Station Link Road Calicut.
